I finally found time to post again! Well, the trailer is great. I am at total peace in this park. I love the fact that there are so many cats that wander freely & safely here. I've got to meet some beautiful little cats. My Ollie found a girl to hang out with & she's a sweet pure white young thing, probably the same age as Ollie as they look to be about the same size. She is shy about getting to close to me, but she talks up a storm from a distance when I see her outside. Probably, she's asking me to let Ollie out to play. I even feel comfortable about letting Churchy go out and sit in the garden. She's 16 and was born with her back legs severely deformed. When she
was a kitten she walked around on her front legs with her butt in the air, I called her my little ballerina! She still gets around fine & the vet says she's in perfect health. Makes me think back to when I first got her & all the nay sayers telling me that she would never survive kittenhood. I had her back, and she's got enough street smarts to get by. She was raised with a plethora of dogs, mostly large ones- rottweilers,a golden retriever, and a pit to name a few. She would never attempt to run from a dog, and they leave her alone because she doesn't spark their chase instinct-smart girl. well, lets see- I've found some time to make some new jewelry, most of which will be going to "That 70's Shop" of Brocton NY- What a wild little place that is- there is so much to see, and I find tons of new/retro things every time I walk in there!! I've also been sculpting a little and getting ready to stir up a little hell with some baby dolls. I've started collecting and creating some Yule time costumes for my new little demons to don this holiday season-oh what fun it is to turn those sweet berengers into something creepy/cute. Hope everybody had a fantastic Halloween & much love to all***

New bathroom

Well, yesterday my landlord started this major project on my bathroom which began with raising the roof. He told me his crew would be up there working and that I might see a little sunlight through the hole in the ceiling-HA, all of a sudden I heard a loud crash, my dog ran up the stairs barking his little fool head off, and I followed to see what had happened. Well, the entire ceiling had collapsed into my bathroom. There was a 5 foot wide gaping hole in the ceiling and such a big mess I wanted to cry. All I kept saying yesterday was someone could of warned me that this could happen-I would of at the very least gotten my toothbrush out of there and closed the toilet lid. Geez, I could of been given a concussion if I had been in there at the time. I was really mad. I had to pee in a bucket, several times!! If I had been warned I would of skipped the blood pressure meds with the built in water pill for a day, but noooooo, they let me think I MIGHT see a little sunlight. So, I chalk this up to another bad mark against men in general. They fib, they exaggerate, they downright lie, and they never tell you ahead of time that your going to have to pee in a bucket-jerks!!!!!

I finally got my blog going on

Well, it took me months but I'm here! I don't know why I kept putting off getting this thing started, it seemed I never could find the time. I'm terribly busy babysitting my Granddaughter as I write this, but she's having an afternoon snooze so I actually had a few minutes to myself. I'm pretty tired and sore today from 2 days of Festivities out in Brocton. I was there as a vendor, and setting up/tearing down is not as easy for me as it was 10 years ago when I did this sort of thing every summer. Back then it was big heavey wishing wells, decorative wooden yard signs, and those sand bottles that were all the rage at the time. Definatly alot more physically demanding than hauling around little plastic bins of jewelry, but my body says different. Age, arthritis, and my own personal favorite, Fibro Myalgia can be thanked for that sorry state of affairs I would think. I'm not complaining, really I'm not, it could be worse. Suppose there were no Vicodan-aaaack, perish the thought! I'd be in bed with the heat pad on my back and ice packs on my feet, my little dog Otis would be whining to go out, and four cats would be sitting on the bed staring at me like I'm a rare form of rodent ready for slaughter! So, anyways The festival was fun, I made a little money, made alot of new friends, and won a little ceramic pumpkin with the pleasant surprise of a very lightly scented candle inside! Even though the rain pretty much ruined Saturday, Sunday had beautiful weather and people were generally happy and enjoying themselves. I got to see mud wrestling for the first time in my life too. One match was between 2 girls and I recently became friends with the girl who won. That made it more fun to watch! I thought the whole crowd was routing for her, but later found out both girls were named Nicky-lol, so no feelings were hurt by the crowds chants! Ok, I just realized I would probably write a book if I kept going & nobody will bother to read it, besides my little darling just awoke from her slumber-till next time*****Dawn
